Nellie's Catering, located at 15 South Beneva Road in Sarasota, Florida (near Fruitville Road) has been a part of Sarasota for many years. Most well known for their top notch off premise catering services, they specialize in anniversaries, bar and bat mizvahs, birthdays, business seminars, meetings, cocktail parties, lunches, dinners, lifetime events and of course weddings and receptions. In addition to working with them when our company would order in lunches and dinners during high volume seasonal times of the year, I have also worked closely with them on a number of weddings, one being my own! I can definitely vouch for their exceptional customer service and amazing food.
The most attractive aspect is that they are reasonably priced and can work within nearly any budget. They have also been voted one of the Top Ten Caterers in the Sarasota area by TheKnot.com, which definitely says something about their quality and service!
In addition to their superb catering, they also offer other complimentary services like wedding coordination and rehearsal direction, floor plans for venues, rental lists, fresh floral arrangements for buffet and Hors D'oeuvre tables, and other decorations and props, along with even more complimentary services.
The staff is wonderful, the food is excellent, and they have built relationships with many of the area's wedding and special event vendors, meaning a smoother event for you! If one thing is for sure, you definitely want to go with vendors who have worked well together in the past, and Nellie's Catering certainly fills that requirement. You won't be disappointed!

Fredda: I want to extend the appreciation of the entire Weatherington/Woods clan for the outstanding job of you and your staff. You and every member of your team exhibited outstanding operational awareness and customer service acumen throughout the entire catering process. Especially, I want to thank Loren and the crew that served us on Saturday night. Though they were continuously challenged to meet the demands of the evening caused by the many attendees who showed up without having RSVP’d, they maintained their decorum and met each challenge with tact and professionalism. The result was outstanding results achieved out of a daunting situation and a successful event for me and my family. This is unforgettable.

I didn't want the morning to slip away before sending you all a THANK YOU! The luncheon was a huge success...thanks to the Nellie's team. Your staff was amazing...not only incredibly efficient but on the creative front...could not have done it without them. The food was perfect...all I kept hearing, it's the best lunch i"ve had at the gardens...fabulous!!!

Your professionalism amazed me, during the ceremony of wedding of Alison and John at the Selby Gardens;
When the storm started and almost ruined the hope of the expected ceremony under the banyana trees and almost 1 hour we had to pray, hope, and even cry finally the rain stopped and the ceremony could finally start, as you planned;
The ceremony was spectacular all thanks to your resourcefulness, as was the rest of the reception after.
I have worked with Freda more than a decade, and I always am completely sure of her success at organizing wedding, and satisfaction of the wedding party and the guests.

As you know I could not be at the seder this year, but I heard nothing but rave reviews on the whole evening! And one of the things I heard over and over, was how great the food and service was. In fact, we have decided that we want you to cater our passover dinner every year, so you could just go ahead and put us on the schedule for next year. We are going to celebrate Passover on the actual date of passover next year, which is April 6th (Good Friday). Will that be a problem for you guys? If so, we could consider doing another night like we did this year.

Just getting back to normal now. Again, you did a fantastic job with the wedding and have recommended Nellie's and YOU as the wedding planner.
The wedding was soooo beautiful and everyone has commented on the food, the set up, etc.
